Jojoba Oil does not contain triglycerides which is found in most vegetable oils such as coconut oil and grape seed oils.  Instead Jojoba oil is unique compared to other seed oils as it is structurally and chemically very similar to the human sebum produced by sebaceous glands to keep skin moisturized. Because it is so similar, the result is that our organic jojoba oil is easily and quickly absorbed into the body making it an exceptionally good carrier oil for our CBD massage oil to be absorbed.

Traditionally, eucalyptus oil was used as an analgesic agent that helped to relieve pain and it was valued for its ability to reduce inflammation. When it’s used topically on the skin, eucalyptus can help to reduce muscle pain, soreness and swelling.

The marjoram plant (Origanum marjorana) is an aromatic herb known for its aromatherapeutic properties as well as having anti-inflammatory benefits.  It can help with muscle ache & pain relief.

Oil of clove is originally from India where it is known as a great natural remedy for dry skin.  It is known to help lessen the appearance of stretch marks and puffy skin but even more importantly, it is used to soothe muscle aches and pains.  Cloves are known to help the blood flow through inflamed areas and therefore helps reduce pain with the improved circulation.

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a mono-unsaturated fatty acid that is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to help relieve pain and as such, is a primary ingredient in Nature's Sentry CBD massage oils. From Egyptian times, castor oil has traditionally been used to moisturize the skin as castor oil helps to prevent water loss through the outer layer of the skin. Not only does castor oil reduce dryness, it also stimulates tissue growth. It is antimicrobial and so may also protect the skin from bacterial infections by keeping out microbes that can cause disease.

Lavender Bulgaris Essential Oil is widely held as a natural analgesic or pain reliever. The oil is quickly and easily absorbed as it penetrates the bloodstream easily beneath the surface of the skin, it is often used as a natural muscle relaxant and pain reliever.

The traditional health benefits of arnica are well known.  It is a soothing agent for reducing inflammation such as from sports injuries or strains due to the organic anti-inflammatory compounds of the plant which loosens muscles around the affected area.  It is also often used for those with arthritis to help reduce swelling and works as an analgesic to believe topical pain and the pain of aching joints.
